Karen is a violence survivor living a happily and safely ever after.

Growl 4 Justice is a place to share my raw thoughts and stories in hope of helping someone find their way to safety and making our community safer for everyone.

Karen earned her master’s degree from Towson University and a bachelor’s degree from Radford University. And recently became a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).

Karen keeps a busy schedule as the Employer Education Manager and family counselor for her church. 

She has also served on several non-profit organization boards and as a Child Protective Services worker.

Karen is married to David, the Unexpected Pastor, and are parents to two adult children.

Karen loves cats and Sauvignon Blanc.
