Lamb of God,
Bless those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Ease their pain.
Wipe their tears,
Hold them in your warm comfort.
Let us be a blessing to those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Let us bless not ban them with our vote.
Amen.

You’re a pastor, Christ and the scriptures are full of “the persecuted for righteousness “.
As a pastor, the ultimate “persecuted for righteousness ” is CHRIST!
Yes, I have known many who have been persecuted for trying to love and care for others – especially during this election.
Thankfully the scriptures give us hope.
Also I’ve been in that grey area, as an advocate for women and children. Confidentiality prevents me from defending my actions but I’m caught between those who are angry I’ve gone too far and the others that believe I’ve failed for not doing enough.
But more importantly, this prayer is for everyone who feels afraid and scared during this election cycle.
This election has made millions of people if not most afraid – it has been very divisive and many have cried because of the conflict’s impact on the family.
Perhaps if you read a few of my other posts, you will discover the other persecuted in my life.
Thank you again. I truly pray your inquiry comes from a very blessed life.
